May 06, 2013· I got a Pheer 427 belt grinder from Jose Navarro the other day. He sent it to me for reviews and extended testing. Here is what I have written so far about it. Unpacking and first impressions: It was dropped off by UPS in two boxes, one containing the grinder and drive, the other containing the motor.
My review to follow: The features I was looking for in a grinder were: 1) A solid frame2) direct drive. 3) Variable speed. 4) Good customer service, a person at the end of the phone line not, a machine. 5) As a newbie all this needed to be affordable. These belt grinders are made for knife making.
