For me 80% of the value is for sharpening end mills, a constant nagging expense for us. The other 20% is split between horizontal milling cutters, lathe tool bits and drills. I also use it a lot for cylindrical grinding but that's really another function will skip it for now. If you want to sharpen end mills, imo you have to sharpen the periphery.

What's missing is the base with the tilt lever to move the end mill to and from the wheel. The original collets have been replaced by $150 worth of precision bushings (which is what I'd sell it for).
